Hi Joyce! My oldest is 10 and she is my tomboy...but the twins who are 7 are girly girl...they all have such different personalities but are sweet as peach pie. They keep me on my toes at all times I enjoy them more and more everyday! ...
I've worked at my job for 10 years and have done a few different duties in those years and have learned alot about the embroidery world. When the eight hours of work are over my second job starts being a mother of 1 plus twins all girls!! I enjoy going to garage sales and making old things new again, watching movies, making floral arrangements and spending time with my family. Right now I'm into spray paint I think almost everything in my house and what I've gotten at GoodWill and garage sales has gotten a fresh look with SPRAY PAINT it is so fun and inexpensive what a difference it makes!!!!

Hi Carrie:
Yes -- enjoy your girls while you can. They tend to grow up way too fast!! You have a really cool job and yes, I have seen those embroidery packs that you are talking about. They are way "cool" and everyone simply loves the vintage box they come in. At my local Bernina Store, they are promoting them heavily. However, on a retirement budget -- I'm sure you get the picture. But you might also pass it along to those in charge, that everyone wants the box!!
And I saw a lot more on my job than I ever wanted to see. My "guys" worked so hard but the courts as well as the jails are so crowded, it was like a revolving door. Usually, just a slap on the hand even on the 2nd+ offenses! OK, off my high horse and on to nicer things!!
How old are your girls? They are absolutely beautiful! I have 5 grandkids -- 4 of them girls. One is all tomboy and the other 3 are "girlie" girls.
What do you do at work now? I retired last October (I was a secretary in the Narcotics Dept. of our local city police for the past 10 years) and am in the process of getting better after spinal bone fusion surgery 6 months ago. I think I'll like retirement better now!
